Achievement Day
Achievement Day will be a day students can come and perform and showcase their growth for the year.
This comprehensive showcase will judge musicians on several categories including written theory, sight reading, applied technique, and performance.
The students will be scored on a point system. According to their score, they will be ranked Good, Very Good, Excellent, or Outstanding.
The students in the top rankings will have the opportunity to win a music scholarship.

Symphony of the Creek
Laura Sage has put together The Symphony of the Creek. It is comprised of Violin and Cello players. Other string instruments are welcome.
Laura's vision is for musicians to come together and work collaboratively to grow in their musicianship.
They will be bringing back classical and popular hits from the 60's and the 70's and this gives them a chance to read music and learn different string instruments.
They will be performing in different venues such as the Lee Theatre, for nursing homes, and occasionally in church. They are using music to bring joy to the Southwest Virginia Community.

Spreading Cheer for all to Hear!
Spreading Cheer for All to Hear is a music ministry that is committed to bringing music to people to lift their spirits and give them joy.
Who do we play for? We travel to different places like hospitals, nursing homes, malls, and to anywhere we are requested to play.
Who can participate? Everyone who plays an instrument is invited to play with us and all levels are invited! Just pick your favorite music and meet us there. When there is a Spreading Cheer for All to Hear event it will be posted on our events page.
This ministry is an excellent opportunity for musicians to get exposure playing in front of people and to do a good service for their community using their gifts.
